Colder than Winter
The winter came bringing the frost & the lost. I survived on your warm pretty lies. Though the winter is cold. One last gaze from her eyes will always be the coldest goodbyes, My eyes will ever refect upon. No tears for the lost years. How the years begin to disappear. So does her reflection in the mirrors. When you find a memory souveneir. My heart begins to weigh like bronze. Those who dont just say read psalms. These scars replace the violins & all im left with are dark hymns. Even though my heart isnt attached like a limb. Who knew she could still reach inside my chest & begin to be my puppeteer again? Making me remember the sins of our skins. You greenlight me ,just tonredlight me. I should forsee that every gurantee you left me with leaves me absentee. Doesnt matter if i disagree Or even three of me. I always drop to my knees become your devotee. Now I stand tall and not even the shriek from your obscene heart can make me see anything but the Banshee you've become.
