Cocoon of Becoming
Cocoon of Becoming Like a caterpillar stirring from its sleep, To one day rise and fly as butterfly— My thoughts, my feelings, Are tangled now in threads of doubt. There are scouts who guide my steps, Helping me trace the path ahead, To choose with care, To listen gently to my trembling heart. They teach me not to cling too fast, For letting go is hard— Especially when I cannot, And all I feel is chaos, disarray. What does my feeling Say of fear? And what does my heart Confess of longing? It is that I miss you In the very moments I lose myself. It feels like I am gone, Curled deep into my hidden shell. But one day, I will awaken Again. Wiser for what you once gave me, And ready to go on— With my life, renewed.
