I don't doubt you but I'm tired So tired I'm used to the thrills And everytime I see your call I wonder when it would stop coming, if it might be abrupt or slow timed Like a parcel,I have learnt to excuse every emotion with fear Fear it would all end and you become a stranger whose voice I can recognize And you say all the nice things thrilling enough to make me safe but my weariness lurks around Maybe I just admit I'm scared, very scared and like the palm of an infant I hold on dear to memories You're not to blame, you can blame me So I look to the mirror for hope and I see her, curled up like a child frightened,I can reassure her but I only know myself And there's only little hope for a weary soul
