COASTLINE
It was in January, you had engaged me in a conversation on resolutions We wrote them out and deliberated on easy single detail This went on for hours and a seed was sowed Days into weeks and into months but the time never seem right to jump pluck our fruit But we knew,we knew On another day we had sparked a conversation and asked about our crush and I belt I wasn't surprised it was me This made the long night reading stroll more precious but still the night never seem right All I held on to was that you gave the best big spoon Then the day came and I knew not to make loose ends Finally our tree bore fruit,my hard smile hurting my cheeks, hence we became inseparable The time has gone by and our farmer has gone frail The fruits dies while we watch In aimless wallowing The drought came and so did our tree fell
