My heart is like a rock glued to a cliff, It remains like that for a long time. But darling, you should've checked first I was waterproof Before underestimating me, So my depart wouldn't have left you in such disbelief When the waves came crashing down, coming for me By the command of the vast sea itself. Because a rock can fall out, break away from that attached state. It'd been a long time, so the wave abrasion only brought it sheer relief, As it let the sea carry it away from where it didn't belong anymore, Feeling more alive than it had felt in its entire life. Because sometimes staying hurts more Than to the unknown fly off...
