Closing Void
In the void I sit Grasping at the fading light Slowly it flickers out As I try my best to fight I fight to keep the flame alive While the darkness closes in threatening to smother it It grows more and more faint as the emptiness grows Working it's way deep into my bones Killing the light in my soul In the void My flame no longer bold and bright I sit longing the warmth of the light
