Closed Eyes 😔

Trying to play it off like I don't care you're not with me. But when I close my eyes you're all I see. I laugh to keep from crying. I remind myself you're better off without me and that's what stops me from trying. To get you back. Knowing we'll never get it back. No we could never get that feeling we once had. And this fact makes me so mad. So I fake a smile every time you see me. But when I close my eyes you're all I see.
