As the sun rises, my thoughts awaken. Wishing upon an unforgiving star for a moment of silence. As the moon glows, I grasp at the idea of eternal slumber. Countless hours in an idle state of mind. So desperate to hold on to open ears. I close the book. Ulterior motives bask in my heart.
