Cliché Love
I wanna write your name on a plane in the sky, And hold your hand on a carnival ride, I wanna throw a pebble at your window, Hold you close and never let go, I wanna blast our song from my old boom box, Was it a part of me or Bobby Sox? I wanna bring you chocolate on Valentine’s Day, Hang on every word you say, I wanna kiss your lips in the pouring rain, Like nothing else could feel the same, I wanna chase after your leaving train, Even if I’d miss it anyway, I wanna fill your room full of colourful flowers, Talk and talk with you for hours, I wanna camp out under twinkling stars, And learn every piece of who you are, I wanna breathe you in when you breathe out, Laugh at things we talk about, I wanna fall asleep with your hand in mine, After losing all sense of time, I wanna spend my life somewhere with you, Not quite perfect, but real and true.
