Clemente Waves At Me
The blinking of the waves, their white pupils dressing the Earth’s sediment with a fine stroke, swiped by our mother’s current. The breeze carries a far distant memory that burrows into my center. In our newly discovered relationship, the bosom of my existence is fastened on you. And in my new position, the sun drips onto me. As ocean tumbles find themselves in my wild and distant gaze. And in my quiet space, I find you with my open embrace, that my heart is calm and gentle, with eyes that paint this briny day.
