Walking away won’t make it right, Nor will avoiding each other's sight. Just say it with words, not with silence disguised, These eyes look at you, searching for skies. Hope lingers, though silence binds, But the weight gets heavier with passing time. Say yes or no, end the guessing game, One of us must speak, let’s stop the shame. The chocolates and roses, we’ve had our share, It’s time to choose—stay or leave, it’s only fair. Once it’s over, I won’t look back, The haunting thoughts, I’ll let them crack. I can’t keep waiting in endless suspense, Can’t hold space where there’s no interest. Let’s let this rest, clear and free, Maybe someone else will find us in new company. There’s a world ahead, I can’t stay in limbo, It’s okay to part, but don’t leave me in shadow. Drop the pretenses, let’s be sincere, We’re human beings, after all, dear.
