Circle of love
It's been told: Love lasts forever, but why is its symbol a rose? And then I realized – it’s because the experience of a rose is the same as everyone’s experience with love. In the beginning, you are alone, growing on your own until you find yourself. Then, you become beautiful in others’ eyes, and they take you away from your roots. Being separated from the roots slowly kills you inside, until the moment you start to feel the change. Darkness creeps over you, changing your point of view. When darkness rules you, like a puppet with no will, petals begin to fall to the ground. You watch from below, seeing yourself lose each piece. But at the start of a new spring, the rose gathers its fallen pieces to heal itself and grows stronger than ever, circling back to the same path, to see how it is now, how new looks and opinions shape a different being.
