Ciggie
A ciggerate - still controversial Grabs me from by worries, Pulls me from my history Gives me time while I'm in a hurry The rationality says to my brain - "Quit it! Your heart is losing beats, Your lungs are getting weaker Skin sheding and aging This nicotine gets you closer to death, quicker and faster You lips gets darker The smoke gets you the illusion of peace Traps you in a loop - an invisible killer" And then I count my blessings Inhaling death, exhaling life Not afraid to die, carrying my life in those little packets, whenever lightning strikes
