Choking on a Halo
I smoke the night away, sleep is supposed to be an escape ... Dreams, toss, or turn ... I come to terms. I escape again, ... to the moon aways. I'm reluctant to fall to fear, a tear escapes my ducts. I still run from sleep, and all that is near. Racing thoughts and subtle snears, I smear the slick across the glass. ... choking ... I reluctantly pass ...
