Choke me, let me gasp for air Then tape my mouth, pull out my hair Destroy everything that I wear And don't forget to tie me to a chair I want to yell, cry, scream, I swear! But instead, I'm quiet and I just stare Yeah, it's been a while since I'm in despair Honestly, now I don't even care Go on! Raise your voice, growl like a bear Or you can shout "Escape?! Don't you dare!" And also something similar to "Stay there!" "It's gonna be worse than your nightmare!" I roll my eyes as you give me that angry glare I already know I'm a bird trapped in a snare Maybe, I would still rather be a free hare But as everybody says - life is not really fair
