The humble knight follows his path A road that was paved in the past For generations have done the same But he saw this as little to gain Still he walked down the torch lit road Allowing his pace to be slowed Knowing that when he reached the end He would never get a chance again But as he wandered the only way he knew Another way shined its way through For he was a courageous knight And was both ready and eager for the fight He took the step into the dark allowing nothing to lead besides his heart Creatures came from every angle Gripping their hold and attempting to strangle But he continued to walk with every step faster Swearing to behead the caster A light! A light! He began to sing For then a sound began to ring It began to resonate in his head Turning the creatures into lead And with one last step he made it at last For he was the one who was able to cast The road he choose was one he paved And his life was what he choose to save For the common road is populated But this road granted a mind much more consolidated
