Childhood Dream

The only dream I have had since my childhood Is to become capable of helping those in need. Perhaps I may not be that capable, But deep within me lies that flame. Not that I can change many lives, Yet I will try to shape some skies. For even a firefly in the darkest night Can guide a soul towards the light. I may not be able to heal every pain, But I will try, in some way, to lessen it. Yet if one smile blooms because of me, That alone shall set my entire spirit free.
