'childhood'

"don't grow up too fast" they said. "once you graduate you'll miss being in school" but do they really understand? being a child is hard. friendships you make where you think you'll be friends forever? wait until people change. you think you're alone, people come and people go. do they understand? the older you get, the more you realise how many people lie to you. maybe I will miss school when im older, but I highly doubt it. the girls at school make rumors the boys laugh at my looks teachers say "you need to work harder" parents say "fix your attitude" do they really understand? sometimes I wonder how easy was their childhood for them to believe mine is easy too
