Cherished voices ................ They linger above me Those cherished voices, I keep them locked Never to escape my heart You've become my crutch One I can't do without. Above my head Stars gather, They sing of you The melody of angels Is what they possess I love every word That comes with you. Outside my thoughts You're always in there, Even when I try I never can forget Forged in time Are your memories One I seem to love I seek only you If it's not you Then I'd never love again... Seconds go by Like it was yesterday, You are my perfect imperfection My days were bright But lingering above me Are thoughts unspoken I wished you stayed There was more to be said. Darkness crept over me But you warded them off, Angels hear me Guide her every day Let her be my light In this darkened orb.... My favorite sound Is within your heart, Like the sirens Trap me in your melodies Snare me I beg you Lest I crash. If you could imagine A world with just us How marvelous can it be?
