"Chasing a Ghost
" You touched my hand like love was real, like I was something you could feel. Your laughter curled around my name, a spark, a promise—just a game. You pulled me close, then slipped away, a fleeting warmth, a breath, a sway. Your words were fire, soft and sweet, but never stayed, just burned my feet. I traced your steps, I played along, pretending love could make you strong. But every time I reached too far, you vanished like a dying star. And still, I stand where you once smiled, a fool, a dreamer, love beguiled. I know the truth, but still, I wait— a prisoner to love and fate. I’d hold you still if you would stay, but love was never meant to play. Yet here I am, a heart undone, still chasing ghosts, still calling "Run."
