Charleston
In the winter at Mount Charleston, You should go up there at night. If you go up when the snow falls, You will see a lovely sight. It's likely that a mountain snow has turned all the scenery white. It's just us up on the mountain, We are waiting for dawn's light. The moon was up, but now it's gone. The sparkling stars are shining bright. The snowfall from last evening has made the whole world quiet. We're in this frozen scene alone and everything's alright. But the snowbirds from the city are already on the fly. Yet, until they're on the mountain, it's just only you and I. This pristine solitude we find while we are here alone, soon will be disrupted and our peace and quiet done. So, as the night has ended, we can see Charleston's snowy dome. We head out from the parking lot, and turn our hearts toward home.
