Chained
I'm like a chained bird With limitations most had heard But never really pictured The suffering that occurred. I have wings that should've made me fly They nip it in the bud so I'll never try Discovering new things is what I desire Perhaps that's a maybe, I could only admire. I longed to be free To escape from this misery But it seems impossible flee Therefore, the cages burned my plea.
