Once upon a time did, an I live Breathed, therefore an I bee, the hive Handed the wheel, therefore did, I drive I was told a truth, found, did I, it was false So, did I, lose and find Aimed at the same time When I was, without a pulse Given this, rough, a draft The middle of this stone's edges I, the epitaphed The sound's silence, a deafening eulogy Such a happy elegant elegy That hear, no one would ever Afford for here, it would be said, never What can be heard Are the stirring winds stirred By the pleasant trees Handed out freely, only after paid, the fees Ending up in these after-hours I, tears and dead flowers Time, together, we pass Feeding the soil, that feeds the grass Forever, was I, a faithful you Stuck now, in fell crow's glue Inside an hourglass where the sand waits For those turning when the dime's erased From stone carvings' cemetery gates
