"Celebration Of Me"
A world spun forward, two years, maybe three, A joyous occasion, but not for me. I sit in silence, life's absentee, Invisible in their revelry, They say it with such joyous glee, all around faces aglow with cheer, laughing, singing, as the end draws near, a future so bright, yet I'm no longer here, a specter seated, in a scene so serene, I watch and wonder, how they've all changed, A gathering of joy, yet I am here, A specter of sadness, an unseen tear, In the heart of laughter, I disappear.
