I'm still coping with the fact that we've seeped into a wild regression, Living in dead silence, pain through a lack of affection, No more hugs and kisses, We don't focus on the X's and O's, We once had dreams, working for a benevolent goal, We're supposed to be a special team, any issues, we sort em' out, If there's an issue, vocalize that, Don't be extra, point it out, I try to quarterback these situations, But my vision's been blinded by pressure, I can't see what route to take, Feel like I'm under the weather, We've been together for too long, I guess these bumps in the road are worth expecting, Can't really forget the fact that what we got can be nerfed in seconds, But we still survived falls that make this turf a blessing, The love I have for you, not another, can intercept it, So, quit deflecting, What I'm willing to do for you, Die for, I'm pass protect, I'm with you until the clock says 0, Not a second left, There's no need to pile on what we've been through, I've solely relying on the eye test, but never used it in a film room, I see, we haven't been sleeping in the same room, Clearly, I don't love that, When are these games gonna end, All I've wanted was that touch back.
