Cascade
I will have broken my nails on this chalkboard. A cry for empathy. Unheard. Voiceless. Empty. And here I'll press harder. Fingertips screaming. My soul pulsing out. I knew she was liquid. Red with a depth. Shallow in meaning. Making her way back to Earth Like thick tears down a cheek. A girl misses her mother. Down the dusted black. Pooling - a collective - in all that remains.
