Carlos’ Curse
I lie in bed, but peace won’t stay, A stench has come to spoil the day. It fills the air, it won’t retreat, A foulness rising from his feet. Carlos walks, and all must flee, His toes unleash catastrophe. The smell takes over, far and wide, No room is safe, no space to hide. Through walls it creeps, through vents it flows, A toxic cloud that always grows. Even places he’s never been, Are plagued by what escapes his skin. We beg, we plead, we cry, "Please, no!" Yet still, his rancid odors grow. Oh, Carlos, cleanse your cursed soles, And free us all from rancid woes. Until that day, we live in fear, Of Carlos’ feet when he comes near.
