Can't Save Me
Something inside is off I know it, I can feel it but- I just can't find it... It's in my mind, my heart, my soul, But- what is it? I can't figure I've dug people, out of holes Jumped to save one from drowning Held the corner so you couldn't hurt But for some reason I can't- I can't save, me Why is it so hard to ask To cry, to feel, to scream Maybe because I have to ask for it It's harder that way you know, When they look at you, When you're vulnerable and weak, And small. Makes me sick. I'd rather save me It is better to die than to speak? Always for me. © Melody
