Can You, Will You?
Can you weather the storm raging inside your mind? Can you find your calm in the center, even when lightning makes you blind? Can you hear the silence under the thundering rain? Can you feel the warmth beneath the shivering pain? Can you find the path that leads you home? Can you remember all the loving pieces that you hold? Will you take my hand and allow me to help? Will you trust that this burden isn't yours alone to shelf? Will you listen to reminders of why you are here? Will you believe me when I tell you, your purpose is near? Can you trust that you are loved beyond measure? Will you let me prove that you are a treasure? Can you remain by my side, can I compel you to stay? Will you choose love over fear, and continue on your way? Can I convince you it's worth it, this shitty life that we live? Or will I be forced to endure the pain of losing you, jagged and bleeding edges as though stabbed by a shiv?
