"Can you hold me"
In the depths of night, where shadows creep, And echoes of laughter slowly seep. "Can you hold me?" a whispered plea, Lost in the silence, of memory's sea. Through fields of sorrow, where flowers wilt, And hopes are crushed, by guilt's cruel lilt. Yearning for comfort, in a world so cold, Where love fades away, and dreams grow old. Yet in the emptiness, a flicker of light, A hand reaches out, through the darkest night. "Can you hold me?" the heart does cry, In the depths of despair, where tears run dry. So hold me tight, and never let go, In the midst of pain, let our love flow. For in your arms, I find my reprieve, A sanctuary of solace, where I can grieve.
