Can I take it back
You took my life. Can I take it back? Let me be. Let me see what’s still mine. Can you take my life? I need to go. I need to be something that feels like me again. Because right now everything sits wrong, like I’m wearing a life that doesn’t fit anymore. I move through it like I’m borrowing time, like I’m waiting for someone to notice I was never meant to stay like this. Give me back the quiet that didn’t hurt. Give me back the version of me that didn’t have to ask for it. I’m still here. I just don’t feel like it.
