Campus in the Rain
The sky turns dark, a heavy sheet, Clouds gather fast, the storm to greet. The first drops fall, a gentle start, And rain spreads joy through every heart. We run through puddles, laugh and play, From class to hostel, all the way. The roads shine bright, the leaves wear beads, The air smells sweet, the earth it feeds. Then suddenly, a cloudburst roars, Water rushes through the open doors. Branches bend, the rivers swell, The campus hums its rainy spell. We jump, we spin, we dance, we cheer, The world feels fresh, the sky so near. Lightning flashes, thunder drums, Nature calls, our spirit hums. The storm may end, the clouds may clear, But memories of rain stay near. In every drop, in every splash, The heart of the campus sings and laughs.
