Caged Freedom
Goats on the grass, chickens in the yard, fishes in the water— all born so simple, so soft, so pure. They do not know fear, they only know life. Yet their future is decided: to be eaten, to be gone. And when I see them, I see myself too— a life walking forward, but tied by fate, dreaming of freedom, yet born to die. I look at them and wonder— why must their birth, and maybe mine, be only for death? Why can’t we live, as freely as we wish to?
