Cage of doubt
Cage of doubt Sweet cries of an innocent child A melcanholic sound Stuck in a cage unable to get out They fought their hardest But they couldn't break free. This tragedy was tale as old as time No one couldn't break free It happened to everyone Time will come, you will realize you had the key The chilling screams and cries Makes you ponder why? Why must they trap us in a cage Is it to keep us safe? Or is it to make sure we never escape The truth is that cage was always open But every step you got closer It felt suffocating The air was thin, it made us think that we couldn't get out And you realize That the cage was built by us We had the key But something was stopping us Doubt.
