By The River🏞✨️⏳️
The river flows from valley A girl who watches it all day The boy catches the cows and ducks Girl stares, and mourns his heavy luck. His clothes are dark and black as coal, He tumbles down the grassy hill. Her pity touches to the soul, But shame makes him grow cold and still. He looks up by a sudden chance, And catches her careful glance. The girl smiles, pure love to evince, And he has been frozen ever since.
