by me, for me
They said I'm dumb, they laughed so loud, As if I’m meant to shrink in crowd. They mocked the way I think and speak, But storms are silent before they peak. They told me, "You don't even know, Who stands with you, who’s friend or foe." But I have learned through nights alone, The truest voice was always my own. They called my dreams a foolish game, But fire never asked for fame. I rise, not just to prove them wrong, I rise because I know I'm strong. I may not shine in their cold eyes, But I have galaxies that rise— Within my soul, so vast, so deep, Even in pain, I plant and reap. No crown was given, none was owed, I carved my path, I bore my load. And though I stumble, break, or fall, I’m still the author of it all. Let them speak — their words decay, While I build empires my own way. Not dumb, not lost, not incomplete, I’m fierce, I’m soft, I’m fire, I’m sweet. -prarthi
