Tapestry of interconnected lives ( parents ) Tapestry of interconnected lives, A deceptive tapestry, filled with lies, When I was still a blank page, They wrote me into a miserable teenage. Puberty crept onto me, as I realized the lies in me, they taught me good manners, And turned me into a good actor. I was pressured to achieve, And I was too naive to feel relief, As the darkness filled the sky, I learned to act like a sleeping sly. This tapestry of interconnected lives, Taught me how to deceive, They told me to pay, The amount I received.
