butterfly

we love someone so deeply they become your life it's easy to succumb to overwhelming fears inside blindly I imagined I could keep you under glass now I understand to hold you I must open up my hands and watch you rise so I spread my wings and prepare to fly for I have become a butterfly fly a family into the sun and if I return we truly were meant to be so I'll spread my wings and fly for I am a butterfly I have learned that beauty has to flourish in the light wild horses run unbridled or their Spirit dies you my love have given me the courage to be all that I can and I truly feel your heart and soul will guide me back to you but when I am ready to land I will spread my wings and prepare to fly for I have become a butterfly fly abandonly into the sun I can't pretend these cures aren't overflowing steadily I can't prevent this heart from almost overtaking me but I will not allow fear to overcome me and take what this world has so graciously given me for I am a butterfly so take my hand hold it tight fly with me my love and show me the night.
