'but i am you'
when i look in the mirror, wandering my gaze over my body, i just see my insecurities, my flaws, my imperfections. 'i hate you', i say to myself, 'why cant you look the right way?' but suddenly my face changes and i don't see myself anymore, but the old me, the small, shy and dreamy girl i was and she looks at me and a tear runs down her cheek cause all the mean things I said about myself, I've said to her. 'why do you hate me? ' she asks, crying 'what did i do wrong?' 'nothing', i say, 'i could never hate you, only me.' 'but I am you' she says, her face slowly fading away and only i stay behind but i cant stop thinking of the pain in her voice not understanding what she did wrong to be treated that way.
