bullying a slam poem
Words sting in my ears, like a bee stings a flower Enraging me beyond the point of self-control My life now filled with fear, that can no longer cower From the incessant bullying that takes its toll Forced to put on a fake smile, when it all gets too much Crying for relief in secret, from every caustic touch All in the name of fitting in, the bully's untrue hatred so full How can anyone fill this void, this hollow, aching bull? The anxiety and dread that wash away the days My mind whirs with horrible thoughts, in an endless maze The bully's bullying behavior, yet no one notices the cause Why can't I just escape, screaming out to the laws? Forced to put on a fake smile, when it all gets too much Crying for relief in secret, from every caustic touch All in the name of fitting in, the bully's untrue hatred so full How can anyone fill this void, this hollow, aching bull? Loneliness and confusion, that fills me with despair My world is soon to come apart, but no one can be aware The pain of being judged for no real reason Crying to a silent sky at night, for no one to comfort me this season Forced to put on a fake smile, when it all gets too much Crying for relief in secret, from every caustic touch
