bugs
you were the spider on the glass that I threw across the room I got scared and it shattered when I saw you thought I caught you and threw you out with the paper my mistakes always come back to haunt me later you were a moth on my ceiling when I was young held you in my hand and in a second I was done after that I never turned on my lights again you were a centipede crawling on the floor on the cold hard cement came in through the crack in the door you were caterpillar crawling on a tree opened up your little eyes then you saw me ran away but I caught you almost squishing now I look back constantly wishing hadn't thrown you out the door hadn't said that I was done hadn't squished you in my fingers because now I love bugs
