Brown
I've always liked the colour brown It's one of my favorites Specifically because That's the colour of your eyes You've never liked the colour of your eyes You wished they were blue or green But I've always loved your eyes Because of how they look at me They're pretty like chocolate diamonds And smokey quartz Pretty like brown moths Even if I know you don't like bugs Your eyes are as pretty as wolverines Which are almost as aggressive as you They are like deep pools of coffee Which I know is your favorite drink Pretty like vintage paper And pretty like a baby hummingbird As delicate as daylillies And as lovely as your favorite sweater And yet brown isn't my favorite colour It's green Because that's your favorite, too
