Broken wings
Broken Wings I sit here and wonder why. You’re not here to hold me while I cry. I gave you everything. And you left like it was nothing. As I pick up the pieces of my shatter heart. I realize I’m right back at the start. I can’t believe you left me here in the dark. Now I’m trying to find my way. But it’s so hard to fly. When all you can do is cry. I can’t see the light. So I try my best to get up again. With my broken wings dragging me down. I just don’t understand what I did to make you do this. Everything goes black as I close my eyes. I just wish I had you here to hold me while I cry.
