BROKEN TWO

He was broken, a shattered soul With heavy burdens, he couldn't control Damaged by life, lost in his pain He thought he was meant to suffer, with nothing to gain Then she appeared, with a heart so kind She saw his brokenness, but didn't mind She was also hurting, with scars of her own But together, they found a love to call home Their broken pieces fit together so well Like two lost puzzle pieces, finally able to dwell In each other's embrace, they found solace and peace Their love was a sanctuary, a much-needed release But as fate would have it, their timing was off He was healing, just as she was lost She was ready to love, when he needed to heal Their paths crossed, but their hearts couldn't feel And so they let go, with tears in their eyes Knowing that their love, was a beautiful surprise For a moment in time, they were each other's cure But sometimes, love is not meant to endure He moved on, and so did she But their love was a memory, they would always keep For even though they couldn't make it last They found healing in each other's broken pasts And though their love story didn't have a happy ending They'll always be grateful, for the love that was mending For he was broken, and so was she But together, t
