broken soul
And then one day… He left — just like that. No goodbye, no explanation. Someone I thought I’d spend my whole life with, My 24/7 person — gone, like he was never mine. My eyes still wander, hoping to catch a glimpse of him. My ears still wait — just for one word, one sound from him. My fingers, silly as they are, still type his name on my phone, Even though I know… I won’t find him there. He cheated. He left me at my worst. And yet… his thoughts still live in my mind, Like an uninvited guest who refuses to leave. I can't delete a single photo of us, Because that's all I have left of him now. I still open my bag just to smell his hoodie, Pretending for a moment that he's still close. The ring on my finger, the anklet on my ankle — Little pieces of him I can’t let go of. I have every reason to forget him, to hate him… But my heart doesn’t listen. I miss his "good morning" texts, And now, every morning just feels empty. I'm trying — really trying — to move on, But the harder I try, the more I feel stuck. And sometimes… it hurts so much, It feels like everything is falling apart. Life feels heavy. Unbearable. But even after everything… A part of me still misses him. Still loves him.
