Broken Soul
Across the miles, I pen my heart, To you, my love, a work of art. In ink and words, I pour my soul, Hoping you'll hear my distant call. The paper whispers secrets dear, Of dreams and hopes, of joy and fear. My pen dances, a lover's sigh, As I write to you, across the sky. In every line, a piece of me, A fragment of my heart, I set free. I wish upon the wind's gentle breeze, That my words reach you, carried with ease. Oh, how I long to be with you, To hold your hand, to see you true. But till that day, I'll write my heart, And hope that love will bridge the distance apart. In the silence, my words will find, Their way to you, a love so kind. And though we're far, my love will stay, With you, always, come what may.
