Broken promises

"I promise I'll love you, I promise I swear, I promise I won't hurt you, I'm not going anywhere" That's what you promised me, that's what you said. That was a lie, I was mislead. You promised me loyalty, you promised me protection, that was no promise, only deception. It's fine now I'm healing, one broken peace at a time, it's all in the past now, I think I'll be fine.
