A letter to the one who broke me Living daily with a smile etched on my face Going about my activities with so much poise and grace Upholding my forte by keeping up the pretense But with every step I take reminding me of you It makes it harder and more painful to smile I cannot deny how badly my heart breaks each day I remember it all like it was yesterday When I remember every part of the promises we made Was it all a charade?
