Broken Phone call

13/05/2021 I still remember the day that you said You will always be there for me And all the time we spend together Not a broken word could have came between us But one thing made a trench between us And we became further apart from each other I didn't know who to blame so I blamed you But it only took one call to make me live my life in regret forever Not knowing what to do or what to say That call changed my life forever And i wish that I could have spent more time with you That broken call that made me hear about your passing Was the hardest blow One by one all the memories come back I wasn't part of your final moments That where your final months When I did see you Your life where already taken And placed in a box Now i lift up my arms and call out your name Just to hear your voice a final time And to find out where your ashes lay So that I could heal the past
