Broken mirror
The glass is cracked, the edges fray, Shards of silver cast light astray. A thousand faces stare back at me — Fragments of who I used to be. A smile split wide, an eye torn in two, Every reflection shows something new. Jagged lines trace my weary skin, Each scar a story etched within. The mirror whispers what I won’t say, Truths I bury, fears that stay. In broken pieces, I see it clear — The beauty and ache of every year. But in this ruin, I find my art, A mosaic made of a shattered heart. I am not perfect, but I am whole — A broken mirror with a living soul.
